Mitsubishi WD-73733 73-Inch 1080p DLP HDTV

My husband and I bought high-definition Mitsubishi 73 "TV in October 2007. We had a 50" Mitsubishi rear projection TV, 13 years, has never needed a repair. For this reason, we just wanted another Mitsubishi. What is an amazing electronic device. We set the base for $ 500 with free delivery and free men paying for delivery, and no taxes, was an amazing deal. Our WD-73733 TV is the implementation of Nice. I expect the same quality as those for older peopleModel we had.

You can not go wrong with the Mitsubishi brand and order from Amazon. I recommend hand bonus offers that Amazon launched every year in October to December. It could be just a free base for this TV great to receive.

Amazon.com Product Description .caption { font-family: Verdana, Helvetica neue, Arial, serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; } ul.indent { list-style: inside disc; text-indent: -15px; } The WD-73733 is a mammoth 73-inch DLP (Digital Light Processing) rear-projection HDTV from Mitsubishi that incorporates the latest technologies for an accurate picture that is perfect for a large home theater system.

Giant Performance, Small Footprint
Because the latest Texas Instruments 1080P DLP chip is inside, this television yields the full 1920 x 1080 high-definition resolution with progressive scan, the highest quality HDTV standard today. With a television this size, offering more than two million pixels is important to prevent visible pixelation.

The WD-73733 supports the x.v.Color standard for 80 percent more color than standard HDTV. View larger. View back panel.

Despite the large screen size, the WD-73733 weighs less than 100 pounds and is only 17.5 inches deep. View larger.

The television can display any video signal that is connected to it. When a 1080p signal is the input, it passes through with no down conversion: The 1080p signal is maintained from beginning to end, giving the best picture quality. When a lower resolution is detected, whether it is 720p HD or a DVD, the signal is automatically scaled to display at 1080p, with minimal side effects and a very detailed picture.

The screen is huge and the technologies are many, but the unit itself weighs less than 100 pounds and is only 17.5 inches deep, which means it will fit into many decors.

More Color
The WD-73733 incorporates a slew of new technologies that combine to give this television the most realistic color reproduction available on the market today. The new x.v.Color standard is supported, which dramatically increases the color space available, with 80 percent more color than standard HDTV.

The WD-73733 also supports Deep Color, a new standard that incorporates 10-bit color depth, versus the previous 8-bit color depth. With Deep Color, shaded images show less banding and greater contrast.

Coupled with this technology is Mitsubishi’s exclusive 6-Color Light Engine, which uses six primary colors instead of the traditional three to create more colors. Mitsubishi’s Color 4D Noise Reduction, PerfectColor, and PerfectTint yield a wider color palette and the ability to fine tune the set to your exact preferences. The end result is a brighter, smoother, and more realistic picture than ever before.

Connections Galore
You don’t need to worry about running out of connections with the WD-73733. It has three HDMI 1.3 inputs with Simplay HD certification, so you can connect your Blu-Ray player, HD DVD player, and still have an input left over. It also has three component video inputs (two rear, one front), a front USB connection so you can display up to five-megapixel photographs, and two A/V inputs with S-Video. It has a Dolby Digital/PCM output and an analog stereo output.

The WD-73733 is backed by a limited 1-year warranty.

Which Size HDTV is Right for My Room?

HDTV Size chart With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience.

If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get.

  • Minimum size = Viewing distance/3
  • Maximum size=Viewing distance/1.5

Recently I bought the TV and I like it. As with all large LCD, DLP or plasma, the picture is not very good if you are not watching Hi-Def programming. But the picture is perfect Hi-Def. I watched the Lakers / Magic playoff game last night and could not be satisfied with the image.

The design of the TV is beautiful. Has a semi-opaque screen and when I turned on the TV is not a reflection (which is why not buy a Samsung've seen). When the TVoff the reflections are minimal. The frame around the television set is very small, which makes it very attractive to the wall. The remote is actually very pleasant and light.

[...] I'm very happy with my first flat screen TV!

Mitsubishi LT-40134 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

Update May 2010: I had this TV for warranty service (within the return one year warranty) for a number of dead pixels. Do not give me any trouble for the return, even though about two months and found among them. Now, a year later, the screen is gray, with only a small part on the right side still in the original brightness. There are also problems with electrical power, the TV goes off from time to time, and you must draw at times, and then connectto get back. Conclusion: Do not buy a Mitsubishi TV.

I bought this TV two months ago, and I am very happy with him. The picture is excellent with HD programming (1080i and 720p) and even with 480p input. As for analog signals, well, it's as good as I've seen, but you must accept only the good old television is never as good on an HDTV. I even connected the TV to a Dell computer with a DVI-HDMI, and have a brilliant 1080p picture. The computerRunning Vista Media Center with digital cable tuners, cable cards, and the image is great this configuration, much better than the image component input from my Comcast cable box.

The TV will automatically detect most of the things that connect, and run the command for you. You do not have the universal remote remote control functions used, as I have a Harmony remote, so I can not comment on, but the remote seems to operate quite simple. The menus are fairly easy to navigate, but if you linger too longChange a setting in the menu goes away, which may be a bit 'frustrating.

The only negative I've seen so far is that I see changes in the surface of the screen as the bands that appear only when the sunlight reflected on the screen. Are invisible in the night or when sunlight is not very bright. I also wish the TV had picture-in-Picture (PIP), but this is not a blow to the TV, as it is.

The TV I liked how you fit into a wardrobe essentialhas a platform of 37 inches. It fits just yet, but I have a maximum size of the screen that could fit in the cupboard, so I'm happy. I would settle for a 37-inch screen otherwise. I would definitely recommend the TV looking for a 40-inch LCD screen.

Mitsubishi WD-82837 82-Inch 1080p 120Hz Home Theater DLP HDTV

It 's huge.

I had a 56 "Plasma Panny bought last year. She has a beautiful and a fabulous TV. However, with the sound system that I have down there (classic KEF Reference throughout most legendary Alon isobaric sub, led by top Marantz HDMI receiver), I found the image of the plasma was still a bit 'small for the sound!

I did not expect.

56 "screen was the most powerful I have ever bought. Well, I blew out the door, the plasmaIf the new unit Mitsu DLP rear-projection 3-D came out, and I'm glad I did.

It 'was between this and a projector. My brother built a front-projector in his basement, and frankly disappointing. You have the space was completely dark, and even then the picture is not very bright.

This set DLP, however, is much brighter, and you can see during the day or with lights. It 's huge, really full sound system. Not quite truesound without having to first class and 56-screen theater worthy "is just the small end, that if your room is small.

Once I had optimized the color balance, satisfaction with the calibration disc, I had great things. The Panny had great color out of the box, but the factory settings on Mitsu DLP units are muddy and a bit 'out. Well, if you buy this set, by all means, you are not a good calibration disc complete with a Blu-ray. The Before / AfterThe difference is very noticeable, even when you're a real geek "Video." The same disks are incredibly cheap, and you are spending so much on a TV there's really no excuse, is not set correctly. I think a lot of negative reviews were simply not able to do the calibration so that their beautiful new picture looks right.

presentation Blu-ray movies on high-intensity colors such as "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" are spectacular on this set. Fast-moving sports like baseball and hockey-renderinginstantaneous, in contrast with the increasingly popular LCD screens that show a black band on the ice instead of a disk. And, of course, you get the most dollar-inch HDTV out there.

My sister, an old Sony Grand WEGA DLP set, and when finally the light on what had for almost $ 300 pop in its place, and then was a huge rigamarole to replace it.

The bulb of this TV is about one hundred twenty dollars, one is for this type of theftHigh-performance light. It is 100% user-replaceable. This is what sold me on this TV. Since this low price for a lamp, can I keep a spare on hand at all times when it blows I can run fast again.

I can not stress enough how important this function for those DLP rear projection. Your lamp to blow. This wear item like brake your car. Design the system so that the user can replace the light bulb is so smart, should Mitsureceive a medal. The configuration of the bulb so it can be sold for about a hundred dollars impressive.

How does the picture compare with the Panasonic plasma? The plasma is better. Blacker blacks. White: White. Action: Fast. Viewing angle: WAY wider. But the plasma is simply not big enough for my application, and a plasma size of this gigantic DLP cost you your firstborn son. The brightness and image quality is worth the trade-off for engaging the size of the screen. It 'wasit's worth it for me, and experience with a larger screen really blows away the plasma of superior quality for me.

So you know where I stand with this TV. If you are looking for the home theater experience, I advise you to stop, flat panel displays and projectors. Did you find the right type and brand TV right. Stick with DLP rear projection Mitsu and sophisticated, while many others were switching on all flat, all the time. Those of us, not the millionairesthere is no substitute for screen real estate are very happy they did.

Go to your local dealers Mitsubishi DLP and see these great things in action. Choose the model that best fits and starts to cart model. $ 3,100 for this TV deal is an achievable and maybe they can get only offering this price to your local Mitsu guy. It will pay for delivery, but the fee will be similar to what is sold to affiliates of the Amazons, the pay TV – and you get a Guarantee on earth Havewhich is very desirable, is on something of this magnitude.

If your personal economy, lets you spend three thousand U.S. dollars on a TV, I would definitely put this on your shopping list TV.

You will not regret.

Mitsubishi WD-52327 – 52″ rear projection TV ( DLP ) – widescreen – 720p – HDTV monitor

This TV is huge and has great picture quality, and watching it is the perfect way to end the day. It hooks up easily with my DVD player and my laptop, does exactly what it’s supposed to do, is intuitive to use, and has never caused me any trouble.

I read the other reviews complaining about workmanship, but my TV is almost 4 years old and has had zero problems (even bulb failures). That’s even more impressive since I shipped it 3,000 miles across the country when moving and am sure it was jostled.

Things to note: the TV looks best when the overhead lights are dim, and it takes 10-15 seconds to turn on (which seems slow). Also, the sound quality is not the best available. However, I still give the TV 5 stars because these problems are minor and addressable, because I have a separate sound system, and because overall the TV has exceeded my expectations and was a great value for the price I paid.

One last point: Visitors are extremely impressed with this TV, because it looks sexy and expensive. If you a modest person, this TV could come across as more ostentatious than its smaller cousins. However, if you like the attention, the style points, and a fantastic viewing experience, this TV is for you.
